As a lifelong Georgian and man whos living directly correlates with how many people want to work or live in our state, I (Luke Crawford) am always excited to see economic development in our state and this story out of Dublin is no different!

Governor Brian P. Kemp has announced that Woory Industrial Co., Ltd. will establish a new manufacturing facility in Dublin, Georgia. This facility will create over 130 new jobs and bring an estimated $18 million in investment to Dublin-Laurens County.

Woory Industrial Company, founded in 1989, specializes in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning components for the global automotive industry and is now focusing on developing products for electric and hydrogen-fueled vehicles. The company's new facility, its first in the United States, will produce electrical heaters, control units, and actuators for electric and internal combustion carmakers in North America, with operations set to begin in November 2023.
