Suspected Use: This apartment deal has been around for several years. A mixture of investors, including Casey Cagle and Justin Hawkins, own the land. At one point, the land was under contract for $40k a door ($11,800,000). That deal fell through in the fall of 2023, with the latest asking price I have heard being $25,000 a door. The site has a lot of topography and will require the development of a road connecting Holtzclaw to Freedom Pkwy, which will probably cost $4-5 million. 

On March 12th, the Forsyth County BOC voted to initiate the rezoning of this site to a Mixed Residential District that does not allow for multi-family or townhomes.
