183 Homes Coming to Jot Em Down Road

Hello, Luke Crawford here. I live in Cumming, Georgia, and like to keep a close eye on what is happening with land here in Forsyth County.

I wanted to fill you in on a development project that is in the works off of Jot Em Down Road next to East Forsyth High School.

A group called R and B Dawson Area, LLC (Danny Reid and Danny Bennett) has assembled a total of 201+- acres surrounding the school that was re-zoned in June of 2023 (ZA4101).

The assemblage of land was re-zoned to Res 2 with plans for 183 lots at a density of .91 lots per acre. The lots will have a minimum width of 100’ and a minimum size of 30,000 sqft. The lots will be serviced by Forsyth County water and will be on septic systems.
